Welcome to Snow-IoT Website

“Snow-IoT” is a project that aims to enhance the “smart cities” ecosystem with continuous environmental monitoring for better design of urban environments, better health care and live-response to the public regarding environmental dangers in their related habitat environment. “Snow-IoT” will combine the measurements from sensors and the medical knowledge of the partners Ygia policlinic and UNRF to associate environmental hazards to probable causes of health problems.

Our proposal aims to a future of cities where people diseases and/or causes of health hazards are pro-actively pinpointed by sensor data analysis. This will be featured as an additional application level service in the existing CyRIC IoT platform, open to developers, startups, policy makers, city officials and citizens, for assessing the state of the city and implementing new innovative applications.
